Charlie Parker improvisation posts & some Bebop lines study materials

Dear all,

I am writing to share some of casual posts on Charlie Parker and bebop improvisation in general listed on little webpage at www.jkchang.com Posts on Bird and Bebop are listed in Bebop Cookbook page, featuring posts such as "Formulaic Improvisation & Charlie Parker's Ornithology Motive," "When Charlie Parker Met Stravinsky & The Slonimsky Motive"....etc. Study materials, mostly written for saxophone, are organized in Downloads section, featuring about 10 study projects such as "Chromatic Transposition of II-V-I Bebop Lines"...etc.

Hiya~

Few more non-analytical posts about Charlie Parker have been up, including "Charlie Parker & The KoKo Session" and "Academic Studies of Charlie Parker's Music". Coming-ups are some discussions regarding Parker's "lead-in" (or line-opener) motives...etc. (still unbearably hot here...someone should just teleport me to north-pole so I can write them on the comfy back of a cute polar bear....sign)
