Now I've finally decided my Grassi Tenor is "The One", this needs a new home...

This is the Tenor my tutor, Dave Plummer, preferred to the Bauhaus Walstein Tenor. See: http://cafesaxophone.com/community/threads/pro-test-bw-tenor-vs-carmichael-tenor.10293/

Checked over by Paul Carrington, sax tech, a few weeks ago, it's in great playing condition and is near perfect cosmetically, just a few tiny scratches by the strap ring and on the bow - see photos: http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/slideshow/24489273

Comes in its ABS case with original mouthpiece & ligature.

£250 collected.
Payment by cash on collection 5 mins from M1/J20 or M6/J1, or I could post in which case insured 1-2 day courier will be £22 in the UK (bank transfer please).

;)

With the amount of horns leaving your house we should call it a stampede! Wild Dave Hickok!

Hiscox... I think it's pronounced Hiscox?

Ha ha ha ha!! I like it..!!! Good luck with the sales. Your YTS is in very good condition and I think that is a keen price for forum members. May I politely suggest that if it doesn't sell on here put it on eBay with a buy it now at £1450.

If you can collect, it's yours for £220.

Try it out first, discover it IS better than a BW, then take it home, smiling...

All my sale horns are checked over if there's even the slightest doubt about playability. This one just needed a little tweak to one of the bell keys by Paul Carrington a few weeks ago.

Hmmm, I`d be careful about saying it`s better than a BW - it was better than YOUR BW at the time you compared them , someone elses BW may play and sound better.

In fairness David said "discover"
Indeed, and if it doesn't play better than a prospective buyer's own BW, or one they have tried, I'd be surprised but delighted if they still took it home.

Mods....

Had a PM from a new member with 5 posts but couldn't reply due to:

"Conversation Status: Not open for further replies".

I've started a new conversation to send him a reply.

What's occurring?

I must say Jeanette, it`s lovely to have someone thanking for the donations .

The gratitude was always there, just not enough time for the guys to do it all. :)
