If the keyboard recording doesn't work out you are probably looking at a Zoom H2N if you want a good all around mic for not too much money. You can pick them up new for just over £100. There are a lot of posts on this site about this mic.

I have the zoom too Melissa and although basic it does everything I need. Hope your keyboard works out for you.
