Thanks Trimmy, I have no idea what the guy uses but it looks like a standard DSLR camera with a small extension mic on it with a little wind guard on. He does seem to capture the sound really well.

Thats a lovely comment, thank you. It's not something that I consciously think about, what I do is to imagine Etta singing it and I try to feel every word that she sang. I also listen to each note that I play and if they sound good to me then it make me happy.
