Bob Geldoff doesn't look convincing on the tenor in this clip but its a great riff- probably the one that got me into the sax in the first place. Looking back- how much does this sound like a British version of Born to Run era Bruce Springsteen?

You're right about the Rats/Springsteen comparison there Jules. I prefer the other TotP clip where BG plays the riff on a candelabra.

I'd forgotten what a performer Geldof was, he has quite a way of putting it across doesn't he? I always found something almost tragic about the line 'deep down in her pocket she finds 50p'
