Blackened grilled red potatoes

  • As many red bliss potatoes as you care to make
  • light olive oil
  • nice blend of your favorite fresh cracked red, black, green and other pepper
  • a little hot sauce <optional>
  • hot bbq


This is better than it sounds...


Clean your red potatoes
Poke holes in them and microwave till soft
cut them in half
coat in bowl with olive oil
sprinkler ample amounts of all spices on all sides

PLace on very hot grill until spices darken and potatoe fries slightly from the oil.

Remove and serve

Optional:

Cut down fresh corn and sautee....addd some salsa right at the end to the above potatoes which have been chopped up after blackening.

ENJOY!

I don't know how I missed this post ~ sounds easy and delicious.

Love the addition of the hot sauce, this will be tasty with a couple of steaks on the grill. :)

That is Great! I would really like to hear how you liked it. We actually have this quite often and leftovers are really hard to generate.
