Mouthpiece/Lig FS BIG PRICE DROP Vintage Selmer Super Session HR Alto Sax Mouthpiece E

Vintage Selmer Super Session HR Alto Sax Mouthpiece E -- Excellent Condition

The Alto and Tenor models of the excellent Super Sessions were discontinued by Selmer in 2012-13 as a ploy for the marketing of a newer model mouthpiece. NOS ones were available for awhile but now and are no longer available anywhere despite being a great mouthpiece for legit and jazz playing. This one in excellent condition with the table, tip, and rails all pristine. The only wear is one tiny tooth scratch on the beak and the change in the color of a small part of the shank due to the typical oxidation of Hard Rubber. This is a beautiful rich sounding mpc perfect for jazz and ballads.

Comes with the original Selmer ligature and cap.

I always try to use the least expensive and reliable transport agency available. The cost of insurance will be added if the basic price doesn't cover it, which also depends on the destination.. All shipping taxes and governmental duties at the destination are the responsibility of the buyer.

Sadly I can no longer ship outside the EUA simply because of the customs tax hassles now on non-business people selling used personal belongings treating us as if we are a business trying to avoid feeding the pockets of the politicians and their cronies in real business. Additionally the cost to ship outside of the EU is so high I could fly to many locations and deliver the tiny mouthpiece package (weighing less than 500 grams) to you personally.
I am really sorry about this but I already have had the post office and UPS screw me over and not return the shipping fees the buyer paid which I then had to discount from the amount due me for the piece.

If someone outside the EU such as the UK was interested in buying this you could make your arrangements with them then put it on ebay at an agreed time and immediately close the sale after their bid and send it using ebay global shipping.
You only pay your national postage rate and no bother about the legalities.
I'm assuming French ebay has the same rules as the UK one.

Hi Targa, Thanks for this advice. I never heard of Ebay Global Shipping before but will check it out and change the Ad if it's possible here, in Barcelona Spain, which is where I live. I love France and we go there all the time (it's only a 2.5 hour drive to the border). So I don't know how the Franch deal with selling to non-EU countries. Here they make you register and pay taxes as if you were a business because it's to a non-EU country. Paperwork BS and unjustifed taxation since anything I sell is generally at a loss unless I've lucked into some Vintage piece of kit. The motto of all countries is Bend Over and Pay. 🙁🙁

The UK has some strange, ill thought through requirement for people selling to the UK to be vat registered and handle that side of it. It's one of the things that people find so confusing that they just give up, Phil will tell you. I tried to but a ligature from an independent manufacturer in Italy and he was bewildered by the requirements, so was I.

In the past prior to Covid I bought various items from NL, UK, PO, think 1 from ES. Rules & shipping were simpler. What used to be simple now is IMO very convoluted & expensive with delays after shipping, not worth attempt except a few unattainables this side of the pond.

I wish you the best of luck, @Jazz Is All in your sale.

That is really odd. Is this something new? I regretted the UK leaving the EU but maybe not if this happens now.

Or is it just a Spain thing?
To be honest Pete it was a couple of years ago already and my shortterm memory is like a murky bog in an episode of Vera now. The link below has the rules that you have to follow. If you don't read Spanish you can google translate it but you still won't understand it in......I'm bilingual and understand it linguistically but the legalese gives me a brain freeze by the 3rd page of this nightmare. So I just made it out to be a present. to a close friend and avoided the whole thing. It was a one off anyway because after that I realized it's not possible to sell there. which is a real bummer.
