For sale a nice Berg Larsen Scoopbill 110/2 SMS tenor saxophone mouthpiece
Tip opening #110 = 0,110" = #8 Otto Link.
Berg Larsen | Metal Mouthpieces
This mouthpiece comes from the 90’s/2000’s
It’s not a vintage or an Offset Berg Larsen.
It’s a standard a Berg Larsen mouthpiece, with a strong mid frequency core.
This specific mouthpiece is hand finished (no milling marks on the table) and it’s chromium plated.
The real tip opening (measured with a gauge) is between 2,80 and 2,85 mm… so it’s a real 0,110/0,112” tip opening.
The mouthpiece has a medium-low resistance… and speaks really easy from the bottom to altissimo.
No refacing needed!
It’s in almost “like new” conditions.
As usual, there are some tiny casting imperfections here and there... common in stainless Berg’s: they do not have influence on the sound/performance. Check samples below!
