Hi guys
I have a question regarding my mike
I have a normal dynamic mic that I can connect to my amp and play my sax through.
If I get a small lapel mic and a 1/4 to 3.5 adapter for the amp can I run my lapel mic into the amp
or do I need some sort of power source to power the mic .
Regards
Allansto

If its a dynamic mic, no you don't- its condenser mics that need to be powered....

I made Pete's clip-on bell mic ... It is great :)

The mic I used needed no power. Plugged straight into my PC for recording with Audacity. No battery either.

PCs provide a power feed for desktop condenser mics on a third connector on the plug
