Here's my crack at "This Can't Be Love" on baritone.
Loosely based on Sonny Stitts recording.
YBS 62 with Berg Larsen 120/2 SMS metal piece, Hemke 3 reed.
Mic is Blue Yeti usb.
Would like to hear your thoughts. (Good or bad).

nice swinging version, i like the sound you are getting and how you play with more attack on the baritone.

Ooh I like this on Bari. A cool version. I'm only familiar with the Benny Goodman version so I'm off to look out Sonny Stitt, thank you

Lively with a bright and breezy attitude. Fine tone and phrasing with crisp attacks. Well done.

Many thanks to Ian, Chris, Sue and Wade for the listen and comments.
Sonny's Baritone work is really something, inspires me to play in his style, to the best of my ability.
PS I Love You by Sonny Stitt is another I really like (haven't been able to play that one up to pace, but enjoy trying).
Nick.

Wow that was fantastic Nick ! I love the whole thing, but I really like the passages around the 1:00 mark.
And the Berg sounds awesome ... now I'm thinking: new mouthpiece for me !!

Thank's Brendan.
I'm loving the Berg as well.
It's even playing well with reeds it didn't like in the past (Hemke).
More likely I'm just getting more comfortable on it.
Might have to change name from B Flat to E Flat or maybe BE Flat to cover all bases.
Nick.
