Had a few silverplated horns over the years and have been wanting a new 1 to add to my stash so after looking about and checking out reveiws i went for the M2 Pro Walstein tenor.Just got my neck custom silverplated on my Yamaha Z but was wanting more silver.Got the M2 from birdman (Pete Scaddan) of Studio saxophones and it came today. Was wanting alot from this horn and i got alot.Opened the case and WOW,HOLY COW,what a treat to the eyes she is.Looks amazing, silver neck, body, bell and dark gold lacquer keywork.Stunnng.Build is top notch, like a tank and ergonomics are very fast and nice,as for sound its cracking.Very focused and compact but still very flexible.Great core to it.Love it and the BW M2 is a must try.

Good to see you back! Which mouthpiece are you using on this?

Hiya Dave
Thought your missus had put her foot down as you hadn't bought anything for a few months.
Sounds like a cracking horn, have you used it live yet? Will look great with your white strap.
If you ever get a job at a gypsy wedding you'll outbling the bride.

Yes the gas cats back in the house.Using a Sakshama mp he made me,guy lives in New York,he casts the bronze himself and he made me a Brecker 1 model lost wax mp with his own take on a Brecker Guardala.Had it a while, wow it must be good.Asked him to make a 118 tip,it rocks.I'm In a wedding band Kev so might end up doing a gypsy 1 ,my new M2 came in a IVORY coloured Hiscox case also,Bling is the word, loud and proud i say.

Hi Dave, you paint a wonderful picture - I was with you all the way there - Enjoy!

Hi Dave,

I have had my M2 Tenor for just over a year and am well pleased, will be taking it in for a service shortly but it does not seem to have deteriorated in any way. I started using a PPT8 mouthpiece about a month ago which after initial misgivings seems to be a good match with the BW M2 Tenor (I'll try and put together a full report on findings if anybody is interested).
