My beautiful little baby must go!I have bought another sax (Alto) and need the £ to finance it.The sax was bought May this year (Woodwind and Brass Ltd) and is only 5 months old, it is as good as the day it arrived.It has been checked over by my local shop/Tech guy and is ready to go! It plays beautifully up and down the range and has a lovely mellow,warm dark sound (not nasally or harsh)

Good grief! Why would you fund the purchase of an alto by flogging a soprano? Oh well, each to his own.

My main whinge, though, is - will all you fellow Cafe Sax denizens please stop posting stuff for sale that I'd like to buy?

I've been wanting a decent curved sop for a while now - I just don't have the readies handy. I blew one of these some months ago and thought it was jolly nice. So good luck to BeBopSop (BeBopAlto?) in selling it and good luck to the lucky sod that buys it.

Hi Nick,The funding is also coming from the sale of a pair of top binoculars and all my savings! Also I can play an alto better than I can play a sop.I have only one instrument at a time, because of the cost and so I can concentrate on it. and yes I must change to 'BeBopAlto' now or some other silly name? AltisimoJoe may be? or what about Alto-nJohn?
