I have been reading lots of good things about these tenors and looking round the second-hand market a price for the basic tenor still seems very reasonable. I would quite like to try one of these with a view to it being a back-up/standby to my main horn.

So anyone knows one for sale, and I don't want to spend much on a back up, please pm me.

Many thanks.

I think a member here has one for sale - a BRONZE one too - the guy who bought the Cannonball big Bell Stone series recently on the yard sale

Sorry, thought that was a given with the "buyer contributes", 5% will be donated, thank you.

We prefer people acknowledge it in their post as not everyone reads the rules and don't always realise a donation is required.

Many thanks

There was a Bauhaus Walstein (is it the same, I'm too new to know) on Preloved recently, a very nice silver-and-gold. I enquired and the guy seemed very pleasant and genuine.
I just decided to go for a new sax, with warranty, as I'm so new I don't know what I'm doing.

Thank you for this, I have been trawling Preloved (where I got my 10M) and Gumtree but not really seen anything, I'll have another run through as soon as I can.

why, are the inhabitants notoriously dodgy?

I looked in to a Yss62 up there too. I forget which island it was but a friends husband was travelling there for work so could have collected for me but all contact went away when I suggested this, already had my suspicions which is why I was only going to collect.

Jx

there`s nothing dodgy about the highland islands - what`s dodgy are the cockney ripoff merchants who setup scams using the islands as a location which few would travel to, much like the Nigerian E-Bay scams which had little to do with Nigeria , Gumtree is rife with it (and why I use Preloved instead) .

The silver-gold Bauhaus is the M2 series which is the expensive model, about £1000 more moolah than the TS series.
Loverly thing though and I might just be tempted to get one when my mothers estate is finally sorted (solicitors take an inordinate amount of time to do the simplest of things).

There is a 2-year-old bronze 'improved action' TS-PD on eBay for £490 (they cost about £800 new).

Yes, seen that, thinking more in the 350-400 bracket for the amount of use it may get, I don't mind a fixer-upper if there are any about as I have fixed a few "lost causes". Thanks to all who have contributed so far.
