Bass cl + effect

I recently started using a multieffect pedal with a bass clarinet, using a neck pickup. Here is a srhot sample of just a random doodle...

Neat effect. I like it. Now you just need to think up a way to use it or extend this into something a bit longer.

To me it was a bit reminiscent of the bass part to Herbie Hancock's Chameleon from his Headhunters album---one of my all time favorites.

Excellent! What pick up (and where) are you using? Howard Johnson used some similar effects back in the 80s.

I don't really remember what effect it was, but the pedal is a Line 6 M9.

The pickup is made by TAP and I installed it on the neck. Here is a photo:
