Was playing with my Yamaha WX5 wind midi controller last night and realised I would much rather be playing with my saxophone. It comes with its other half, the Yamaha VL70M thing that does the effects, its great long wire to connect the two and its two mouthpieces. The reeded one and the straight through one. It has a soft sleeve and soft Yamaha case. Its all in good nick, only used at home since I bought it.
I bought it all from this site a while ago when I lived in an apartment and it was a life saver. I was able to play sax through headphones without getting into a row with anybody. It is much more than that though. It is a couple of hundred instruments with a few different fingerings, either to play through an amp or all to yourself through the phones.
Its not a simple piece of kit and as usual with this type of thing I never got as much from it as I could have through not getting to grips with all its features and considerable adjustments. I downloaded the manuals for both, and they need reading. I will pack them too.
I just don't need it anymore though I have a soft spot for it having used it in the apartment, in hotel rooms and even now in the house , when the misses has gone to bed. Probably it deserves someone who can get the most from it.
Its a genuine bargain at 500-00 pounds and 25-00 to cover its courier to UK, maybe bar the Highlands and Islands, have to see, and most of the EU. I will of course donate 5% to the charity.
I checked e bay last night, new WX5 and used VL70M around 700 quid plus p+p. And there aren't many about.
