Band-in-a-Box 2009 including RealBand 2009

Think this is the right place to post this.

I am awaiting the new version of Band-in-a-Box ie 2010.5 therefore will have no further use of the 2009 version.

I can see no reason why my 2009 version could not be sold

If there is any interest from forum members then I will place it in the Yard sale with a price and pics

Not forgetting the usual donation

Are yo not upgrading to 10.5 and therefore do you not need to keep the earlier version. I work for a software company and this would not be allowed on on our software nor would it on something like Adobe Photoshop for example.

Once again it appears that people do not read the written word,they only read what they think they see.

I stated in my post that I was awaiting the new version of Band-in-a-Box ie 2010.5 and therefore had no further use of the 2009 version.


This evening I contacted PG Music Inc, and explained to them what I intended to do. Their reply was and I quote I WILL HAVE TWO LICENSED VERSIONS OF BAND-IN-A-BOX AND THEREFORE CAN SELL THE 2009 VERSION OF BAND-IN-A-BOX ))))

The 2009 Band-in-a-Box which will be up for sale on the forum yard sale was bought from Jazzwise on the 08/08/09 cost £108.95

The 2010 Band-in-a-Box Megapak from Jazzwise is £199.

There appears to be no upgrade from 2009 version to the 2010.5

Thanks to the forum members who showed an interest in the purchase of the 2009 version, If you still have a interest in the software after reading all the above pm me.

Don't see the need for any rudeness. It doesn't bother me whether you have 22 copies or are breaking the license agreement to be honest. It was a simple question based on the natural assumption you'd be upgrading as I and countless others have done - it's typically way cheaper than buying again. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is a problem of homo sapien that we always believe we have written what we meant to say. Unfortunately the written word does not allow for the same interactiona as a face to face conversation. Add to that the nuances that we all apply to words and our belief that everyone shares our version of the nuance and................. Tom will be able to tell us the Cognitive Wotsits of it.

Hi Chris,
You are correct I can upgrade my Band-in-a-Box 2009 to 2010

at a cost of
69 us dollars or 44.41 pounds sterling for the Propak
149 us dollars or 95.89 pounds sterling for the Megapak

The reason I decided to purchase the 2010 Band-in-a-Box Megapak is it also includes some realstyles and other add-on's which would have added more cost to the 2009 version.
This was confirmed to me this evening Thursday 26th by PG Music Inc.
