As Time Goes By - BOTM September 2020

The ballad for this month is "As Time Goes By"
It was written by Herman Hupfeld in 1931 for the Broadway musical "Everybody's Welcome", but it became famous in the film "Casablanca", performed by Dooley Wilson as Sam.
(Film buffs among us will know that Ingrid Bergman didn't actually say "Play it again, Sam" in the film. She said "Play it once, Sam".)

Looks like I'm going to have to start this off. Playing around with new DAW, Studio One ( thank you @Guenne ), which I quite like. Single take, I quite like the understated default reverb setting. My usual Tenor set up.

A fine, relaxed version to set us off.

I have long wanted to play this tune, but the bridge scared me. Still does. Must listen to Billie. Trying to be laid back, this take is after about 15 minutes of learning.
As it happens, it's the PPT mouthpiece with the Syos Wave ligature.
