Any thoughts on an Aribiter tenor. From the pic looks like ARBITER PRO JAZZ.
It's going very cheap, and it's just down the road from me. As something to use while I am still sorting out the keywork on my Conn 10Mwork
Thanks🙂

well, if it is just down the road and it is cheap, going to check it out won’t be a bad idea, even just for kicks.

Having said this, Saxgirl had one and tried to sell it (as far as I know, unsuccessfully (?) for £175 on this board )

There are lots of them on offer in the UK because this is a Chinese sax imported and sold for cheap in the UK.

If you want to spend very little, you can check it out before buying and use it while your saxophone is being fixed (by yourself?).

It will never be an amazing saxophone, turn heads, be a good investment and last forever but then it is not meant to be.

It is what it is. Good luck!

Thanks Andre. Much appreciated
In the end. the Auction price shot up in the last minutes. From £60 to £175 so I didn't bother at that price.🙂

A friend of mine had one of these to start with many years ago,i had a go and from what i remember for the money it didn't seem too bad,but he had problems with key buttons falling out (easy to fix) and lacquer problems.
If its going cheap and plays ok your not going to lose on it.

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
