Microphones Apogee MiC

So my Christmas pressie to me is an Apogee MiC. All I am intending to do with it for now is to frighten myself by recording me playing, to help me practice and improve. Maybe one day I'll dare post clips on here.

Anyone use one? And if so, with what software/app? I'll just be using an iPad.

Oh phooey!
The box arrived just now. I was all excited.

But the box has just three cables in it, and two empty polythene bags which should contain the tripod and actual microphone. But don't.
Looks like someone grabbed an empty box, where the mic and tripod are out on display, and just posted me the box 🙁

They've said so on the phone - but no reply to my email yet. Hopefully it'll arrive on Monday (I think the couriers are working Sundays at this time of year?)

Due to issues with couriers, after days of mental tracking screens, I had my purchase cancelled, goods have been recalled by the shop and I am supposed to get a full refund (confirmed by an email).

Then I received the parcel.

Oops. It would be nice if things just arrived as they were supposed to.
Then again, with the number of things flying around the country at the moment, it's hardly surprising that the occasional thing goes wrong.

At least my new box of reeds have arrived.

Jokes apart, when I bought reeds from reedsdirect they never failed.

I don't think it's the volume that causes issues. It's the temporary staff they pull in to cope with it.
