Anyone out there a Music Major?

I'm looking at music schools now (in my Junior year in high school) and wanted to know what life as a music major is like? What's your schedule? I go to boarding school, so I already understand stress (and 18+ hours of rehearsal a week).
My schools at the moment are:
Berklee Conservatory of Music
Oberlin Conservatory of Music
Cornell
NYU
Columbia
Hamilton.
Any advice for me?

Try sending luluna a pm, she was a music major on sax a few years back. Things may have changed a bit, though. She's not on as often as she used to be, but hopefully she'll get back to you.

You can drop Andrew Clark an E-mail. He is running his own music school in Boston, Bradford School of Music, and he is also writing in Saxophone Journal.

Allie, check your private message box :)

I just read you participate in your school's Rowing/Crew - how about Berklee or Bradford in Boston? Great city, great schools, and you could still keep up with your rowing on the Charles River ;)

Also lots of places to "Busk" - Harvard Yard or Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market?
