Hi Guys,

Just need somebody to help me with some key guard measurements from one of these horns? Anybody out there prepared to wield a digital calliper for me?

Thanks, Mike

Thanks for putting yourselves forward! I tried to send via pm but doesnt seem to be working! If possible I would like the dimensions of the bell guard, low C and Eb key guards for an alto sax project I'm working. These are as follows:

1: Overall length of the bell guard to the outside ends of the mounting legs (assuming the end mounting legs are perpendicular)

2: Overall length of the end mounting legs to the top face of guard.

3: Dimension from centre of end leg screw hole to top face of guard.

4: From the centre line taken between the 2 end mounting leg screw holes, what is the dimension from the centre line to the outside edge of the middle mounting leg ( longest leg )

5: Overall length of middle mounting leg to top face of guard

6: Dimension from centre of screw hole of middle mounting leg to top face of guard

NB top face of guard means ignoring raised bosses for screw in bumpers.

Same again for the Low C and Eb guards.

If you can help me that would be great, thanks, much appreciated

Regards, Mike

some points arent quite clear to me... could you make a rough sketch with question marks on the dimensions you want?

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
