Another big band gig

hi
the only thing i can think of is a constructive point to watch the tuning, blowing a little sharp, but controlling them big bad bari beasts is not easy i understand, good luck on the big band gigs and playing as a whole.

Thanks for that. Yes, going sharp in the solos seems to be a persistent problem for me. I get in tune for the ensemble sections, and when it comes to the solo I get nervous and tighten up. I think that's what's happening. Yet another thing to try and leep in mind :eek:.

You're probably blowing harder in your solos. Blow hard and lip down. It's a problem practicing playing loud. You'll have the tiles off the roof at home or the neighbours round.
