Hello, I've been trawling ebay for an alto in the £100-150 price range to take with me on my trips abroad, I have a good tenor and alto but don't want to risk them being damaged in transit. Most of the stuff on ebay have modern names a lot of which I don't recognise, I wondered if anyone here had an alto to sell, condition is not important but would appreciate a solid player preferably with modern keywork, an early Jupiter, TJ or Artemis would possibly fit the bill and a contribution to Pete's charity is a given. I'll keep trying on ebay but will post back here if I get lucky, pm is best contact. Thanks for your time.

You might also want to look at Preloved ( www.preloved.co.uk )as it does have several hardly used alto saxes at around £150, including Jupiter, Arbiter & Artemis.

Thanks Tom, once again an excellent suggestion, I'll let this run for a day or so just in case somebody here has one they don't want and we can benefit the charity.
