Ligatures Alto Sax Ligature Choices???

I am currently playing a cheap starter Alto (Zeff ZAS600) with the included mpc and lig. I am going to be upgrading the mpc to a Yamaha 4C or 5C soon but I would like to replace the lig in the meantime as it seems to be bent out of shape and I'm finding it very hard to get it in an optimal position. I am finding it hard to get a sound out without having to blow very hard (i.e. delay between blowing and the sound actually coming out). Every once in a while by some miracle I get the lig in a position where I can play without the squeak or needing to blow so hard I get dizzy, but it doesn't happen often and it's becoming very frustrating and discouraging. I am spending more time adjusting screws than actually practicing. I have no doubt that I need to work on my technique and this is also part of the problem, but I played sax for years in school so I at least have the experience to know it isn't just me.

I am having trouble deciding between a Rovner Light and a BG Flex. Would either or both of these suit a Yamaha 4C/5C? Any advice or other options in a similar price range avail in Australia? I would like one with one screw.

Thanks in advance!! 🙂

The mouthpiece is definitely being replaced, but the lig is bent so I am inclined to think that it's also part of it. I could be wrong but I'm willing to try it regardless 🙂

I'm just doing a bit of trial and error at the moment along with practicing improving my technique.

I've ordered the Flex as it's the cheapest I can find with all the features I want after the research I have done (here and elsewhere) and reading your responses.
