Hello, this is me playing the Algola mouthpiece mark I in 8 tip on my Selmer 51,XXX SBA tenor.
The mouthpiece is made of german hard rubber by Alessandro Degola in Modena, Italy.
It has a medium rollover baffle and a large chamber.
It has a classic vintage link vibe, and a medium to medium dark sound spectrum.
What do you think?

Sounds exactly as you describe

Does the tone change when pushed?

Hi Ivan, if you push hard you can get more focus and brightness in the upper range.
The reed that I used was brand new out of the box and was pretty stiff.
I like a good resistance to push against, and I can get a sweeter upper range with hard reeds.
If you use a 2,5 reed the mouthpiece becomes brighter and more cutting, especially if you use a bright reed like the vandoren java green.
My SBA is darker compared to many mark VIs that I have tried.
