A Shot In The Dark - Henry Manchini

I've been meaning to try writing an arrangement of this for a small band for ages. Finally done it. This recording was to see if the arrangement worked and, if it did, for the band to practise to hence the count-in. As I don't play trumpet I've had to use an alto for the trumpet part but I think it still gives a good impression on how it should sound.

The instrumentation is just guitar, bass, organ, drums, trumpet and sax. Rather fewer instruments than Mr Manchini had at his disposal.
