A short-notice notice for today.
Lunchtime gig at the Ivy House in South London with Dave Hammer's Little Big Horns: a lovely ten piece band playing lovely charts mostly by Bob Hammer (Mingus on Impulse anyone?).

I often mention the Ivy House, since it is a co-operatively owned pub in Nunhead.
Great lunchtime vibe, great ales, a few children carefully watched by cool, parenthood-aware, fathers and mothers.
Some good jazz conoisseurs in the audience.

Hope the gig goes well, with lots of the music loving public in attendance, One day I promise to drive the 30 miles, to experience the hammers.🙂

Or maybe the Hammers will have a gig up north, one day. I will make sure I have no clarinet doubling that day.

I realize that you mods need to keep us happy. But that is going a wayyyyyy bit too far.
Love your Clarinet playing.🙂
