What a beautiful situation. I take my previous suggestion back. A Cornetto is far too tacky for there. Try Olives, instead..

Made it onto the ramparts in time to be stopped for a few minutes by security who seemed worried that if the crowd got too big the castle would fall over

Aldevis was superb. Such a treat to hear, live, numbers from his album Twentysix Three encoring with the song by a Triestian composer ( details explained to me by Roberto Buttus of Sequoia sax fame, can't remember name of song).

I said to the children, "It's a privilege and a joy to hear a great jazz saxophonist who ain't dead", (meant in the best possible taste).

Incredible location above the city lights that include a lighthouse tucked in near the seafront.
