I have 3 very interesting flutes for sale
The first is a Dik Kuiper flute.
Dik Kuiper was the uncle en mentor of Eva Kingma, she is one of the most celebrated flute makers of our times.
He started making flutes after WWII and rapidly became a very celebrated flute maker, later on he took her niece as an apprentice in his workshop.
This flute (similar to some Florent Hofinger’s flutes) has several unusual features. It had a low C and C# trill, an high C# key ( the last one is always an awkward note on all wind instrument) it also has a true Boehm system of the thumb B and Bb keys , like most piccolo flutes , instead of the simplified Briccialdi system used by most flutes.
This flute is playable but would certainly benefit from a clean and adjustment. The headjoint is certainly made of silver plate brass while the body is made of nickel silver. Despite the extra keys the flute is not any heavier than any other flute.
the second flute is a Gustav Reinhold Uebel Erlbach. Sinfonia model. (’80?) SOLD
A nice Vogtland flute built in a very solid way with a so called “ reform” winged ( or rather wing shaped) lipplate.
Also this flute is playable but, as always, a clean and some adjustment wouldn’t go amiss.
A wooden Hammerschmidt Klingsor Spezial flute, with a so called reform winged (or wing shaped) headjoint. probably made in the ’30(?) SOLD
Very well made and recently completely refurbished. It has some wear on some keys but other than that it is in very good condition.
En now the financial part.
All 3 flutes are shipped from the Netherlands.
1 flute 700€ (35€ goes to Pete’s charity)
2 flute 400€ (20€ goes to Pete’s charity)
3 flute 500€ (25€ goes to Pete’s charity)
shipping and paypal for each flute add 50€
Should someone want the 3 flutes... 1200€ (60€ goes to Pete’s charity) + 50€ shipping and paypal
Personal collection always preferred
