Re: Botm november 2013

@rudjarl,,, very airy, I love that spit sound coming through. I love that vibe. Sounds very close to the player. Very chilled take, good stuff,

@Chris,,, chops are getting stronger, tone getting very thick and as ever very you,AKA smoothhhhhh, sweet sweet and sweet

Damn, Now I need to catch up with Daveys catching up.
Appreciate the comments.
Nick.

An extremely nice alto sound I thought very enjoyable listening .....John

+1 to what John said:thumb: Nice alto version

Chris..

@ fibracell

I thought it was a well played and subtle version and enjoyed your alto tone, smooth but still with a teeny rasp giving it drama. thanks for posting.

I really do think this number prefers Alto but all the versions are great anyhow.

The backing track is in concert F, which puts the alto into a nice register. I think the more standard key is Eb..

thanks for the comments!

Hi All,
I'm so sorry that I haven't put up a version yet, or commented on the versions already posted.
I've been so busy this month, I haven't had time to record anything.
I told John that I'd try to post a version, so I did a quick recording today without a backing track as I haven't got one.

Well it's almost over now so I would like to thank everyone for taking part in this months BOTM and hope you have got some enjoyment out of it, and there's still time for a last minute post if you fancy.
I am handing over the reins to Saxplorer for next month and am sure he will come up with another very interesting challenge for us all....good luck Saxplorer .......John

Hi John - just wondering where you got the backing track from, or if you created yourself?

thanks Rob
