2012/01 Have I told you lately

OK as I posted first last time out it appears that responsibility lies with me!

Sticking with something that is
A) well known
B) Not too taxing for me ;}

Januarys Tune
Have I told You Lately (that I love you) inspired by this cover version!

Any new years resolutions to give this thread a go???? go for it!

p.s. Mr Chris may be able to help out with some ingredients

Re: A Ballad a Month

This is not something I would normally try and play. But for a good cause..http://www.box.com/s/9kej0k6mk8sq7iq5eurc
Took some liberties with the melody in places?? Will try and post better version later on..

Re: A Ballad a Month

Well Well.

Here`s my “80`s stylee Power Ballad” version. I was tempted to get into my Spandex Jumpsuit for this one ..>:)
I had to go a tad OTT on the Compression and Reverb to get it to bed in the backing track. I hope it will be a worthy addition to this months collection which are all very good as usual.

I did not really know the song that much either but I did have a bit of fun doing it. Oh the tune is at the my space link. I need to open a Soundcloud one day:thumb:
