It is about time I trim the herd as i think 15 saxes is quite a lot for 1 player also seeing as literally a year ago i only had 1 tenor sax then GAS took over and i decided to spent a few pennies so I am trimming down my soprano sax and alto sax collection a little to add another Yamaha,
i will offer my beauties for sale here...

sop 1...
Selmer mark vi (1973 serial) in sweet playing condition from bottomBb to top F#, usual expected lacquer wear for the age, spots around it of wear but zero effect on the playability, in original case, plays fantastic, it is simply too good to sit around, i have a list of saxes i just decided to buy for the hell of it and this is one of them, so this amazing playing sax needs to be done justice and be played as someone elses main sop
price - £3,200

sop2...
Yanagisawa S6 (1977 serial) mint condition in mint condition original case, unreal....
all my youtube and soundcloud recording were made using this soprano, it is a gem, i am sooooooo tempted to keep it, not a money problem, simply i just can not justify it sitting unplayed (when i get my new yamaha)
price - £1250 No Longer for Sale

Alto sax...
Jupiter 769-767 in black lacquer with gold keys, intermediate level to pro alto but plays like any pro level i have played no problem and i actually rate it higher than the buffet 400 i used to have, under the fingers it feels so easy, flows great, plays wonderful throughout. A funky looking great playing pro standard sax for much less than the pro price, also where this model is made they are making the Keilwerth ST saxes and the build quality is great. This alto is in mint condition and is in a shaped hard or soft case with shoulder straps if needed, the choice is yours.
price - £550 SOLD

All the above saxes have been checked over regularly and will be checked again by myself before shipping, i like to make sure everything is as i would want it to play and i am fussy so they will all play very good...

pictures to seriously interested people, tyre kickers take a hike please ;)

prices include tracked shipping.

Yes even tho i have some amazing soprano saxes my heart just pushes me to get a top range Yamaha...

It won't sound as nice as the S6 (or the one that it's copied from).
maybe, maybe not, i am quite tempted to unlist the Yanagisawa, it is not costing me anything to keep it and i am in no hurry for the money for it so maybe i should keep it as i do have a 'bond' with it, aaaargh, dilema, but logic says having 5, 6 or even 7 sops (now 2 Yamaha's on trial with me) it is a bit much ain't it? naaaah ;)

Keep the Yani Ian ...... you`ll only regret selling it and it`s not like a 991 which can be bought everyday of the week .. Also I`m well into my Yams in Tenor and Alto , far prefer the sound to Yani but when or if I get a premium Sop, it`ll be a Yani Not a Yamaha ....

I once tried a few of the expensive later models, but preferred my S880 to all of them.

Just when I was wondering how I could get it past my husband :)

You don`t need another Sop Jeanette - what you need is a PPT Onyxite FOR Sop .............. oh, and a YTS-62 ;-)

Did consider a tenor at one point but decided against one and actually think I preferred the yani I tried>:)

i agree with Kev, will be hard to find better than your YSS-62 for you Jeanette, only different.
I realised that with my S6 too, hence it being off the market but i will add a Yamaha also to my "toys"

but going back to original post,

still selling the Selmer mark vi sop and the black alto...

throw me a bone people!

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

It's not going anywhere :) I've heard so many good reports about the older Yanis I did fancy trying one but Dave wouldn't let another in the house unless I promised to get rid of this and I couldn't do that.
