Older, wiser, should know better....
I am selling some mouthpieces & ligs to fund my latest purchase - an Aizen Jazzmaster. I got it on trial from Dawkes to scratch an itch and the itch is well and truly scratched. I really tried not to keep it but it is amazing. I am now trying Aizen tenor mpcs too. So for sale are:
Otto Link HR alto tone master size 5, played only a few times, bought new from sax.co about 6 months ago. This has been expertly refaced by Morgan Fry in the last couple of weeks and the difference from the stock mpc is incredible. Fantastic dark link tone and now easy to play - no stuffiness. It is in almost new condition with slight fading only to the logo from the lig. Comes in original box with standard metal lig and plastic cap. £110 for a hand- faced Otto Link.
Yanagisawa HR alto, size 5. Bought new. Used only for a couple of months, no teeth marks, always played with patch. Again around six months old. Easy to blow, rounded sound. With standard Yanagisawa ligature and metal cap. £55
Yanagisawa HR tenor, size 6. Bought new. Used only for a couple of months, no teeth marks, always played with patch. six months old. Easy to blow, rounded sound as with the alto. With standard Yanagisawa ligature and metal cap. £60
Yanagisawa Metal tenor, size 6. Bought new about 6 months ago. Can get really loud, described as a lead player's mouthpiece, but easy to control and play quietly. Comes with box, lig and cap £125
