I am posting on behalf of my good friend and bandmate.
On October 29th, his 1961 Selmer Mark V1 tenor saxophone was stolen.
Beyond the sentimental value, it may have a market value from $5,000 -$9,000.
The dirtbag busted out the window of his truck while it sat in his own driveway in Plymouth, MN.
Other equipment was left untouched. He had to squeeze himself through the broken side window, and managed to leave a Chicago Bears jacket with a bit of a blood sample behind.
Any ideas, leads would be appreciated.
Reward.

Only curious; what is the name of the band ? Seems odd that your friend being the horn player is not doing this himself , 5/9 k is ambiguous even for a Selmer 6. Regardless, I hope it works out well

He's not posting himself because he is not online, or familiar with workings of the internet AT ALL. He's owned the horn since 1961. He's in his 70s. He jams and knocks around town with a few different bands. Keeps him young!. The price quote may be ambitious, but I stated the possible value to underscore the point that his loss was not just a couple of hundred bucks. Thanks!

Dollars to Sterling price is about right (not that I'm an expert) regardless it's the sentimental value, that's irreplaceable !
Hope he gets it back
