    Staying logged in.

Being incredibly lazy and old, have failed to find the little box that, if ticked, keeps you logged in.

Where is it located please or if it doesn't exist, can we have one? Can hardly remember who I am.

    Nurse, nurse, who am I?

I think it's time for your medication.

OG, when you type your user name and password in at the top, I think it's just under your username - a little white box, which says "remember me" or something like that !

    Any help??

And I am not your nurse

Just checked. It's still under your user name, but is now called remember. It only shows if you're logged out. So if you can't see it, you're in.

Don't you believe it, every time I do a forum update that box moves around on some browsers, ie Internet Explorer 7. I've given up on IE6 now, it's totally broken on that I'm afraid.

It stayed in the same place on IE9. As for IE6 I can't believe anyone would want to use such an up-of-date browser as it is totally unsecure. I believe the British Government are the only ones still using it!!

To be honest, the incompatibilities between the different browsers are ridiculous and cause a lot of unnecessary work. The people defining the html and other standards seem to think that guys have nothing better to do than rewrite web pages every year.

Should all be standard and backwards compatible. But it isn't, often for what seem to be arbitrary or fashion reasons.
