I was there too and had a bit of a natter with him. Smashing bloke and a great player. Think that's Arno Bornkamp on tenor who is another of my favourite players.

Very nice. I'm not a fan of classical sax either. Shouldn't need saying, but beautifully in tune.

We do an arrangement of this piece with our saxophone choir. It has been tough to get it together - there is a lot more going on than you might think with tempo changes and extreme dynamic range. It's a really good exercise in technique; quite frustrating, but really powerful when you nail it.
