    Default Strap for tenor

I have a Neoprene strap that is OK for the alto but is only just long enough for my tenor (I'm 5'11" and not fat before I receive disparaging remarks!). I didn't think there was different sizes of Neoprene strap, unless somebody knows otherwise. Does anybody know of a good strap for my Walstein? There was a guy advertising straps on the old forum but can't seem to find him now.

    Cool

My top recommendation is the Rico padded strap - available at sax.co.uk and dawkes.co.uk - very comfy and available in Tenor/Baritone size, as well as Sop/Alto.

    Kind regards

    Thanks Tom,

I like the look of these, especially the metal hook. I've just ordered one from sax.co.uk.

Had the same problem. I'm also 5'11'' and found the Neoprene a little short, so I added a couple of key rings to the ring on the sax, and now just right

If you can find one, try a Smooth Moose strap. Wood Wind & Reed in Cambridge do them. Fantastic range of adjustment, padded leather neck strap - best strap I've ever used.

    Cool

The hooks on the Rico Straps are really good! Should stay on safe enough and easy to get on & off!

    Kind regards

    I use one of these

It's a Lebayle Be-bob Fusion comfort strap. I like it and it fits my saxello, alto and tenor very well.

Received this yesterday and it's pretty good. A very easily adjustable cord and sturdy metal hook.
