  • You must post in English and do your best to use correct spelling and grammar. No leetspeak please.
  • You may not post or link to any illegal (e.g. pirate) software or publications. This includes linking to any media for which you do not hold the copyright or have permission to link to. This means you may not link to or embed uploaded audio/video files unless that site specifically and legally allows linking or embedding, e.g. Youtube.
  • You may not insult other members or administrators.
  • You may not use asterisks etc. in the subject header to draw attention to your posts.
  • Do not write headers or posts in ALL CAPITALS.
  • Do not post any marketing material without prior permission, apart from single used items which can be offered for sale in the "Yard Sale" section.
  • Members with trade or business interest are welcome, but should declare such interests in their avatar or signature.
  • Do not solicit members via PM for business, unless they have expressed an interest in buying something via the forum. Anyone receiving such solicitations should report to admin privately
  • Any objections to other members behaviour or objections to admin decisions should be made privately, not on the forums.
  • You may not join under more than one username. If you have done this by accident please contact admin.
  • You may not edit your posts in such a way as to make other posts appear nonsensical, e.g once your post has been quoted. It is especially bad to delete the first post of a thread or to remove links to soundfiles.
  • You may NOT publicly debate any disciplinary decisions or actions made by moderators or admin. Any objections or appeals should be made privately to admin.
  • You may not post the same message in more than one discussion forum "crossposting"

YARDSALE RULES - SELLING ITEMS
  • The yardsale is for bona fide existing members who contribute to the forum discussion in general. You may not post in the Yardsale section without first introducing yourself in the Doorbell section. What this means basically is you encouraged not to just join the forum to sell your stuff and not take part in the community.
  • You must include your asking and shipping price.
  • You must say how much you will be donating towards the cafe Saxophone Charity Fundraising (at least 5% of the sale price)

Any breaking of these rules could lead to automatically being suspended or banned from the forum with no warning.

  • Please start a new thread for a new question
  • Please use descriptive topic titles, e.g "Problem with squeaking D", is better than "Newbie question/s". You will get more/better replies this way.
  • Disagreements are fine, but please try to stay on the debating rather than fighting side of disagreements
  • Please do a search before asking questions that may already be answered
  • Image uploads and links should be no wider than 615 pixels wide or 1000pixels high. Maximum file size 100KB, but please try to keep the file size as small as possible. Files should be medium to low compressed jpg.
